Our Health, Work and Wellbeing team provide a wide range of face-to-face, online and telephone support services to maintain your wellbeing throughout your training.
What is Health Work and Wellbeing (Occupational Health)?
We recognise that our staff are a key business asset and essential to productivity and profitability.
The Health Work and Wellbeing service (HWWBS) support the organisation and individual in maintaining and promoting good health at work both physically and mentally.
The HWWBS will help and support keeping staff healthy and safe whilst in work and manage any risks in the workplace that are likely to give rise to work-related ill health.
Our HWWBS provides high quality Occupational Health and Wellbeing services to Lead Employer trainees in 6 regions of the country, namely, North West, West Midlands, East Midlands, East of England, Thames Valley and London and the South East. We achieved “Safe, Effective, Quality Occupational Health Service” (SEQOHS) accreditation in 2012, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to service improvement, and have recently been commended for excellent customer service during our recent revalidation.
Our highly qualified team are proud to offer proactive, forward-thinking services in a modern, purpose-built environment, in conjunction with a network of other NHS trusts across the country whose Occupational Health Service has also achieved SEQOHS accreditation. Using a “hub and spoke” arrangement enables you to access occupational health services in a number of locations to suit you.
